Sometimes it can be daunting to set off on a bike ride all by yourself. Perhaps you have not been on a bike for years, perhaps you have never ridden on the roads before or perhaps you just want some company. I know how all this feels! I have been riding for 16 years but I still prefer company and when I returned to cycling after having my kids I was nervous on the main roads and would have loved some moral support and coaching.
We will build these sessions to meet your specific issues, challenges or objectives. I pick local routes to build confidence and skills in low traffic areas.
I am a Cycling Australia Certified Coach (Level 1) and hold a current First Aid Qualification. I can help with minor bike mechanical issues but am not responsible for major issues (such as major failure of the gears or brakes) Participants should ensure that the bike has been recently serviced and is in good repair. Outdoor sessions also require the participant to come prepared with spare inner tubes and CO2 canisters. Please call for more information.
Sessions can be individual or for a small group of no more than 4. Prices shown are per person. Iron Mums at 40 Plus reserves the right to bunch riders of the same ability together up to a maximum of 4 riders per group with one coach. Iron Mums at 40 Plus requires at least 48 hours notice if a session is to be cancelled or changed and takes no responsibility ff the whole group does not show at the allocated time.
Dates and Times
Both weekday or weekend dates are possible though weekend dates are more limited. Weekday time slots fall between 9am and 1pm, weekends are more likely to be around midday. We are very flexible and do our best to meet your needs.
